School Visits for Environmental Education

Habitat Studies with Classes

We use your own school grounds or local area to focus on habitat studies. This may include a small habitat area such as a planted bed, hedge line or larger areas such as your playing field or local ponds, shrubs and woods. In each area we look at the plants and animals that live there and the food chain links between them. We can survey and compare the different habitat areas of your grounds for minibeasts/plants, etc. Data collected can be analysed later in the classroom.

Email the Environmental Ed. team with your enquiries or fill out an enquiry form.
